Challenging but doable
Three challenges. Getting the 2 mm silver into a perfect V was the first challenge. Have a couple pieces of silver just in case the first is off. The 2 nd challenge was grinding the seating for the stone. Take your time and make sure you have the right angle and you have the right depth so the stone not only sets flat but into the V deep enough. The 3rd challenge is setting the stone. Using the Dremal, hammer and punches to set the stone then, using a modified screw driver type tip in the Dremal to clean up and fill any gaps. That is the challenge for this ring. When down you just need an adult beverage or 3 aspirin. 😉

A definite learning curve
I really enjoyed this tutorial. It is only my second project with JTS. The stone setting was tough but I think I got it right. (More or less). I like unusual jewellery so these 2 projects were great. It would help if you could mention what some items are. As a newbie I have no idea what I greeny is you used for polishing at the end. Kathy
