difficult but rewarding
I did the oval center with rounds on the side. I had three attempts on making the setting before I was successful.Binding wire to the three collects worked well. I had difficulty getting the correct curve on the setting for a US size 7.5. I had to increase the height of the collects so I could file the bottom enough to get the curve. . I also struggled to get the setting soldered correctly to the shank, had to take it off and re-solder several times. Finally turned out beautiful though! I'm going to try the three round ones next. I want to see if soldering the setting on the shank before cutting the window is easier since there is more surface area to solder setting to shank
