enameled pendent
the back must be enameled or the front will crack off.

A new take on this technique, fabulous
I have swirled and drawn through dry enamel over raw copper or over coloured enamels to get different effects, they usually leave a texture on the surface; however, this is using a pick to draw through the enamel at the flow point instead. I really liked this and shall definitely try it - one thing - the pickle I use tends to dull the surface of my enamel and I sometimes try to flash fire again to regain the brightness but prefer not to as I am not clever at that - I just leave the back "dirty" but polished. I would be interested to know what pickle Soham uses.
