Great tips on Refining
I found this very useful to problem solve what I was doing wrong with refining sterling silver. I am getting lots of cracks when rolling out the ingot. Great tips on correcting this. But what I am not seeing in this tutorial is an explanation for blisters or air pockets coming to the surface after annealing. That would be super helpful to understand what is happening... I presume it is oxygen getting trapped. I am using a propane EZ torch system which seems to take a lot longer to melt the silver. Tips for using this equipment (because regulations on acetylene does not allow in home use) would be great.
