The course demonstrates how to pave set clusters of stones in various paved patterns. You will learn efficient ways to space stones using a specially made tool as well as other tricks of the trade. There are lessons on lifting grain and pre-carving the setting to create the beads as well as finishing techniques such as framing & bright cutting setting edges. These trade secrets are almost impossible to find, but they are now available for JTS students . Discover the best way to perform the cut work around the setting walls using standard jewellery tools and the correct burs. Once you have mastered this type of setting, you will be able to complete your diamond set commission work.
