Neila
oval garnet ring
This is a nice clear step by step creation and a pretty design. I plan to make it as a stepping stone to the three stone ring, and hopefully will progress from there to a five stone ring design I have in mind. Thank you Peter for another excellent tutorial.
David
great video and wonderfully narrated
Kya
Excellent
i liked the over all ring, the mounting piece was a bit difficult to get around , but the experience is the goal.
Dan
could use a few more details
I did this project twice. On the first one a prong broke off after I had. completed the ring. I ended up with a very thin prong because I did not really understand how the setting burr was being used and had many catches with the burr that mangled the prongs. Two places for me that could use a few more details: 1) the shoulder work that goes on after the shoulder miter is cut and 2) the cut work using the setting burr on the prongs. The second time worked out much better. Thank you for this amazing ring made with just 3 small pieces of silver !!
